Frontier models are extraordinary, and rented. They can be re-priced, deprecated, rate-limited, or restricted by export policy with no notice. We refuse to build an analyst's daily work on a dependency that someone else can switch off.

So instead of routing your questions to a frontier, third-party model, TribeBlend runs a curated suite of open-source models on your own machines, grounded by a Business Context Layer built from your Databricks metadata. The result keeps working through outages, price changes, and policy shifts, because it's yours.
